The Canadian Agri-Food Policy Institute (CAPI) Advancing a National Dialogue Awards Program is designed to elicit the views of graduate students on what should be the future government policies or models that will help Canada thrive in the emerging agri-food world, seeking out fresh ideas from graduate students on how to foster meaningful discussion on mid- to long-term policy issues facing the country’s agricultural and agri-food sector, and to develop policy ideas that enhance the profitability and competitiveness of the sector. There are three awards at the graduate level, with one award per category of: food and wellness connection; sustainability; viability.
