CIHR Knowledge Translation Supplement Workshop

CIHR has a new opportunity for faculty or trainees (MSc, PhD, post-doc) to apply to if they have received any prior health grants/scholarships. They can receive up to $100,000 to translate their research findings. Thus, a trainee could have had a $10,000 BC Lung Scholarship and now the trainees (or their supervisor) can apply for up to $100,000 to translate the findings. Virtually all peer-review grants/scholarships make faculty and trainees eligible to apply (e.g., small operating grant from a local hospital).

Janice Eng, Professor and UBC Health Research Coordinator will provide you with the details of the CIHR KT Supplement Competition at the following UBC workshop.
Thursday, May 12, 2011
Time: 11 am to 1pm
Hosted by UBC SPARC (Support Programs for Advancing Research Capacity)
